Recycling Resolutions

January 12, 2011

Since resolutions doesn’t work most of the time for me, I am recycling them! Yes folks! I am indeed recycling my unresolved New Year Resolutions (not that i can promise I can resolve them this year… hahaha)

So here’s the list:

1.  I shall lose weight (hah! I’ll try!) Maybe I should try seefood diet (oh no it is not misspelled, it is indeed SEE-Food not seafood). They say theoretically the more you eat the more you lose weight! hahaha

2.  I shall read more often. Now, where are my books???

3.  I shall find my unread books to fulfill resolutions #2!

4.  I shall “TRY” not to do on-line shopping everytime I switch the computer on. Darn! February sales are coming. I shall try not to think of those nice clothes being sold for half the cost! waaaa!

5.  Cut phone bills! As in shred them! leche!!!!

6.  Stop topping up (loading) phones on top of having bills! leche ulet!!!

7.  Try to learn how to text instead of calling.

8.   Write more often, practice on blogging (this is serious stuff, very serious!)

9.  Try to be more active. In politics? religion? Ahhh! I’ll join worm charming  this year! – SOLVED! 😀

10.  Try to do these things! dam-it!

I hope and pray that i shall be able to fulfill these things so I can write a new list next year. ~sigh~

Clarence Hill

November 22, 2010
Sole pair of feet on a hilly road
Footsteps are the only sound
No other in sight
No other, and alone.
The sun’s up, looking warm
Only to the eyes but not in truth
Ghastly wind and chilling cold
Embraces the warmth and kills its source.
Salty water, the eyes are shedding
Trickles down a snowy face
Halt! Breath… ease your ache
Look on ahead and see
Beauty and grace to behold
Wonder why and wonder not
It hasn’t changed, “it’s not the same”
Not at home, not dreaming.

Plastic Balloon

November 22, 2010

I’ve been trying to start to scribble little notes on cards to be sent this Christmas. I thought I’ll  start with those which I will send abroad. First I shall write cards for those who are in the US of A but I found myself staring at the first card, holding my pen and not being able to write. I suddenly felt so ill. I sat on the bed and and looked at every inch of my room. I suddenly saw this little box on my window. Forgetful as I am, I didn’t know what it was. I know the box has always been there… I opened it and alas!  3 pieces of plastic balloons! They were from Auntie Connie, she bought them from the Philippines for her two daughters about 20 years ago and she was able to save them. She was to throw them away since her daughters are now both grown up and away. I thought it’ll come handy at some point so I  kept them.  I smiled and started opening one. I blew and made a balloon. Seeing it made me feel more ill. So much memories…  Funny how it made me happy when I was a child. It made me smile now that I’m holding it but with tears trickling down my face. Oh how i wish I can be a child once again when my only problem is how to extend my playing time without being scolded… Oh well so much for it becoming handy…

Save our Best Friends From the Sea!

November 1, 2010

From an email of a friend, I received these photographs. Calderon Dolphins are killed for sports! This happens every year in Feroe Island in Denmark . In this slaughter, the main participants are young teens. This is a celebration to show that they are adults and mature! Is killing a sign of maturity???!!!

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

In one way or another, everyone in this celebration is  guilty of killing even the expectators who sees but does nothing… they are accomplices! ARE YOU ONE OF THEM?

The dolphin calderon, like all the other species of dolphins are in near extinction and they get near men to play and interact. They are the angels of the sea who saves drowning humans. In this sport, the dolphins  do not die instantly, they are cut once, twice or trice with thick hooks… Can you imagine how a baby cries? That’s how they sound  like… hundreds of babies crying…

I’m posting this to help them and let the people around the world who cares for nature stop this! Otherwise I shall only be an accomplice to this cruelty if I don’t do anything.

With your help we can save them. Let us send messages until this reaches associations and organizations who can stop this.

Please repost this and tag. This is our campaign for the angels of the seas. Thank you.

Queen of Rain

October 25, 2010

For the  weary heart… trying. For the letting go… and trying to. For the queen of rain leaving. She will remain forever marked with the memories, but shall go with the wind and find the sea where it belongs. As she leaves, hear her raindrops saying… “Thou shall be missed and thou shall always remain somewhere in her heart”. Read more…
